How to Determine Your Ring Size
To use the ring size chart, follow these simple steps to measure your finger and find your perfect fit:
- Wrap Floss or String: Take a piece of floss or string and wrap it around the base of your finger where you plan to wear the ring.
- Mark the Overlap: Use a pen to mark the point where the floss or string overlaps.
- Measure the Length: Lay the marked string along a ruler or measuring tape and note the length in millimeters. This measurement is the circumference of your finger.
- Calculate the Diameter: To find the diameter, divide the circumference by 3.14.
- Use the Size Chart: Refer to the ring size chart below. Find the diameter measurement in millimeters in the chart and match it to the corresponding ring size. This will be your ring size.
Example: If the circumference of your finger is 57 mm, divide 57 by 3.14 to get approximately 18.2 mm. According to the chart, a diameter of 18.2 mm corresponds to a size 8 ring.
Follow these steps to ensure a comfortable and accurate fit for your new ring. If you’re between sizes, it’s usually best to choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit.
